About Us

Our vision is to support children and families in reaching their full potential with a creative and progressive approach in the delivery of pediatric therapy services. We promote family involvement as a valuable part of the therapy process and encourage education and training. Our goal is to make a difference in your child’s life.

Pediatric Therapy Associates, originally named Speech Pathology Associates, has been in the greater Jacksonville Area since 1998. Because of the need to have more available services for our patients and families, the practice expanded its scope of services to include occupational therapy. We are now proud to announce the addition of physical therapy to the services we offer!

Pediatric Therapy Associates is now a comprehensive therapy practice that offers Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy to children with special needs. Our office locations are continuing to expand throughout North Florida as well!

Jennifer Everett, OTR

Hi, my name is Jennifer Everett. I have over 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist working with children. I have provided therapy in the schools, home, and outpatient setting. I strive to make all kids as independent and successful in their environment as possible. I am a mother of two boys and understand the struggles of balancing motherhood and “the rest of the world”.

My eldest child struggled with handwriting(also known as dysgraphia) and ADHD . That became a focus and passion of mine. He is now 22 years old and a successful student in college. Whew!!

I also have nieces and nephews at the pre-school and elementary level who have struggled and were not responding to traditional therapies and educational interventions, which lead me to primitive reflex and rhythmic movement training. In the past two years, I have completed over sixty hours of training in this type of treatment, so I can provide it as well as more traditional therapy. I am continuing my study in this area to become a certified provider and hope to become an instructor.

I am a passionate advocate for children and will try to find an avenue that will help each individual be child successful. I firmly believe every person has something to offer and I look forward to discovering the uniqueness that each person brings to this world.
